Your first 90 days

Here's the honest shape of it, including the flat bit.

Most people expect week one to feel dramatic and week five to feel great. It's the other way round. Knowing that in advance is half the reason people stay.

  1. Days 1–3

    The first sealed days

Your coach's plan lands and it looks almost too easy. That's deliberate. You seal three days and something quiet happens: you kept your word to yourself, on the record, with someone watching.

How it feelsRelief, and a bit of suspicion that this is too small to matter.

  2. Week 2

    The first honest miss

Life interrupts. You mark a habit missed and seal the day anyway. Your habit streak resets, your integrity streak keeps climbing, and nobody makes you feel small about it. Your coach adjusts the habit that was badly sized.

How it feelsThe moment most people would have quietly quit. You don't, because there's nothing to hide from.

  3. Weeks 3–5

    The dip

The novelty is gone and the results haven't arrived. This is the part the method exists for: your weekly check-in matters more than your streak right now, and your coach knows it. They'll usually shrink something rather than push.

How it feelsFlat. Normal. Not a sign anything's wrong.

  4. Weeks 6–9

    The line starts to climb

Two of your habits stop needing a decision. Your coach retires one that's done its job and adds the next, one at a time. The eight-week grid finally shows a shape you recognise.

How it feelsQuietly proud. You start telling people about one of them.

  5. Weeks 10–13

You look up a different person

The habits aren't the achievement — the person who keeps them is. By now the daily thirty seconds is automatic, and the conversation with your coach has moved from 'can I do this' to 'what next'.

How it feelsLike it was never in doubt. It was.
