Your coach
A person, doing a small number of things properly.
Your coach isn't a therapist and won't pretend to be. They do three things, every week, for a roster of about fifteen people — which is exactly why the roster is small.
They design the plan
They read your intake properly and choose the few habits with the highest chance of holding — each built around a reason that matters to you and, where it helps, an anchor in your existing day.
They watch the week
They see your logs as they land. If a habit fails three days running, you hear from them on the third day, not at the end of the month.
They check in weekly
A short WhatsApp message and your four check-in questions: how it actually felt, what got in the way, what needs to change. Then they move the plan.
The roster
Initials, until real coaches say yes to being named.
These are illustrative placeholders, not people. No stock faces, no invented biographies. As the founding cohort opens, each square becomes a real coach with their own words and their consent.

Training standards
What every coach has to be able to do before they get a client.
- 01
Design habits, not wish lists
They practise turning a messy intake into three to five habits with real cues, and they're marked on what they leave out as much as what they include.
- 02
Read a week honestly
They learn to spot the habit that's quietly failing, and to raise it on day three rather than at the end of the month.
- 03
Reply like a person
Weekly messages are written, not templated. Warm, specific, short, and never shaming a missed day.
- 04
Know where their job ends
They rehearse the handover: when something belongs with a GP or a qualified professional, they say so plainly and keep coaching alongside it.
Matching
Getting the match right is our job, not yours.
You can ask for a woman or a man as your coach — whatever lets you be honest. Around your second week, and then roughly monthly, someone from the Momentum team (not your coach) asks you privately how it's going. If the fit isn't right we move you, with no awkwardness and nothing lost.
Training and limits
Trained in the method. Clear about the edges.
Every coach is trained to run the Momentum method: habit design, honest logging, weekly adjustment. They are not clinicians, and they'll say so plainly if something you're carrying belongs with a GP or a qualified professional. Coaching works alongside that, never instead of it.
On this page
We'll introduce coaches by name and face once they've said yes.
We won't put stock photos or invented biographies here. As the founding cohort opens, real profiles of real coaches will appear — with their consent. Until then, you'll meet yours by name within 48 hours of joining.
